HISTORY
Rural
Ulster Preservation Company, Inc. (RUPCO) was
established in 1981 to meet the housing needs of poor
and moderate-income residents in Ulster County. As time
passed, RUPCO realized that developing affordable
housing is key to spurring economic development. It is
critical because companies choose locations based on
factors like the availability of affordable housing for
their employees.
