Rural
LISC provides more than 70 partner community development
corporations (CDCs) across the country with training,
technical assistance, and funding to address the problems
rural communities face. These organizations and their needs
are as varied as rural America itself.
Our
Partner organizations provide a wide array of services, such
as: developing and financing affordable housing; connecting
residents to jobs; financing and supporting local businesses
and the creation of new businesses; developing child care
facilities and connecting residents to quality, affordable
health care.
Rural LISC is currently unable to accept applications for
new Partner CDCs.
Rural
CDCs are, however, encouraged to join the Rural Community
Developers Network, and receive bi-weekly Network
Reporter, containing information on funding and
financing opportunities, policy issues, training information
and other resources.
