HISTORY

Lancaster area churches originally founded the Housing Development Corporation (HDC) in 1971 to develop affordable housing. As HDC grew, so did its service area. Today, HDC works in six counties where there is a critical shortage of affordable housing. Its mission now involves community revitalization, including historic renovations.
