Every year Rural LISC holds a Seminar for its Partner CDCs. Seminars provide an opportunity for the partners to interact with each other, network, and learn how some of their colleagues are facing various challenges that arise in the community development industry. The Seminar alternates locations every year between Washington DC and the service area of one of the Rural LISC Partner CDCS. In years when the seminar is held in Washington, DC there is also a Stand Up for Rural America Day. This event brings together policy makers, funders and CDCs to discuss the current issues facing rural America.
The Seminar is open to Rural LISC Partner CDCs and invitees only, but all of the materials discussed at seminar are now available online. Stand Up for Rural America Day is open to the public.
